Q: How do I keep my Teddies clean?

A: Wash in cold water with like colors, deep colors bleed, use only non-chlorine bleach, hang out to dry or tumble dry on air.

Q: Will my Teddie shrink when washed?

A: Our Teddies are made of 100% cotton or 50/50 poly/cotton blend so some shrinkage will occur in the washing process. If you follow our washing instructions, the shrinkage will be minimized. Additionally, when we size the Teddies they are made larger than necessary, to allow for shrinkage.

Q: Do the Teddies come in holiday styles?

A: Yes, we will have holiday styles available for most of the major holiday. When those styles are available they will be posted on the "Recipes and More" page.

Q: Can I get the Teddies to match my decor?

A: Yes we offer custom design. All we would need is some of the material you would like to make a Teddie out of. Please contact us so one of our designers can discuss your project,  at 1-888 - 4 - TEDDIE.

Q: How do I know how much propane is still in my tank?

A: Every tank manufactured in the US has empty and full weight information stamped into the handle.  An empty tank weighs approximately 18 pounds, indicated by the TW stamped into the handle.  Tanks are filled with approximately 5 gallons of propane which equals about 20 pounds. So a full tank should weigh about 38#.  To tell how much gas is in your tank, simply put it on a bathroom scale and see what it weighs.  The closer you are to 18 pounds the closer you are to being out of gas.

Q: When should I replace my propane tank?

A: Every tank manufactured in the US has a date of manufacture stamped into the handle.  The Department of Transportation, which is the governing body for propant tanks, requires that these tanks be inspected and recertified after 10 years.  However, where you keep your tanks can certainly affect it's longevity.  If it is totaly exposed to the elements then you wil get a much shorter use life that if you store it in a cool dark place.  NEVER STORE A PROPANE TANK INDOORS.  For proper storage and handling procedures please refer to the manufacturers instructions that come with the tank.
